£795.00 + postage is an insane price, sensible would be £150 - £200.

IMHO, of course, but mine cost me £100, several years ago.

(They're somewhat scarce because the roller inductor is wound with silver wire, so the scrappers stripped as many as they could find - same as with the C12 Aerial Tuning Unit, WS 62, etc. - if you are offered one, check that there is continuity between the centre contact of the Pye connector and the rear terminal (there is no protective condenser internally), and be extremely suspicious if there is no apparent connection!)
