I think this is the right bike. The picture is off the New Zealand history site.

Default Two more

There will be two shots of RCASC H-Ds in Liverpool in 1944 I think in our new book out shortly, heading a convoy of CMPs and Diamond Ts being delivered to the central depot.

I have a strong feeling this is an early BSA M20, check out the saddle, chainguard, front brake, etc.

Photo of my Dad with his WLC in Newfoundland in 1942 on my website at:

http://bcoy1cpb.pacdat.net/a_h_stevens.htm

It has the DND number as used in Canada (and Nfld) until about the beginning of 1943.

He was with the Lincoln and Welland Regt at the time and then was with Force W HQ in Nfld before going to England.
