Default 17 pdr. inflatable shell???

Just saw this for sale at the tank museum UK. Interesting.

Just think how many lives would have been saved by the Air Force if this brilliant invention was available then

Instead of 1,000 bombers each carrying 10X500lb bombs they could have had 10 bombers with a compressed air tank and 1,000 inflatable 500lb bombs each.

Do they also have an inflatable Sherman........... put in your driveway to piss off the neighbours then deflate it before the City by law enforcement officer arrives!!!!!!!

There were inflatable tanks, missiles and howitzers on display (and for sale/rentals) at the Calgary gun show a few years back. They would sure free up a lot of time and cash down the road vs the real stuff.

I have one of these... not the best quality IMO.

But they do pack down better than the real thing.

They look more like a 105 tank round.
