Tony,

This posting is very sad thing to see.

If I recall correctly, one of the "grinders" in this sale, is probably responsible for the ignition that resulted in Bobs death. If anyone from here attends, buy those grinders on my behalf......then smash the bastards to pieces with a sledge hammer. Then send me the bill. I will gladly pay it.

Default Yoh Salesman Bob!

Salesman Bob's last sale. It certainly is a sad affair. I wish the family well but will not be attending.

Don't think I could go, no matter what bargains were to be had.
What is happening/happened to the half track blitz?
Rich.

Have a thought for Hugh Davis who finished off the job that Bob started, i saw the finished product and it was a strange and weird feeling to say the least.

Tony, I see it differently. The grinder is a tool, an inanimate object. I am sorry to say that it is not the fault of the grinder.
After an old friend died, his family ran an auction. I made the highest bids on some of his tools, a lot of which were named.
Now when I use those tools, I remember my old friend. I like it that way.

Default What can i say

Hi Guys

I don't have all the full listing of what is going for sale. I know I won't be attending. I recall seeing the grinder on the ground next to the Beaver Tail truck, the funeral was enough for me as Bob and I go back 30+ years when we were both working in another life.

I don't know what is happening to his project vehicles but I believe the half track is currently in the museum but is I believe for sale, I did hear a rumour that a couple of the project Blitz 1500cwt have moved on, but I can't confirm that as accurate. I don't think to many of the military restorer fraternity will be attending.:

Cheers

Tony

I use my grandmothers screwdrivers for the same reason.
