Default 9:00-16 NDMS tyres

Who has the Australian Agency for any 900x16 NDMS tyres?

I am in need of 4 for the Ford Lynx. Which has CMP type wheels so I guess that I need the straight bead tyres not the angled bead as found on the US wheels.

So over to you all.

Regards Rick.

Rick,

Please read this thread on the subject of tyres fitting on CMP rims. It has not much to do with bead angles, it's the actual rim diameter that is different

I know MRF tyres marked "to fit flat base rim only" used to be available in Australia, I would try to find a set if those if I were you.

HTH,
Hanno

Hi Rick,
if you want a slightly more authentic tread than a MRF, there is one that has been imported by a chap in QLD, there is an advert coming up in the forthcoming KVE News, but just to show you a pic in the meantime;

Thanks for that Hanno, I have just spent more than an hour reading previous posts. I guess I need flat based tyres for 6" rims.

Richard, That could be interesting. They look like road lug to me but that is ok. That is what I have on the White Scout Car, (but 900x20"s).

Regards Rick
