Default CMP NOS mirrors. Question?

Hi, A friend of mine founds some NOS CMP mirrors (see photos) but the dealer is very "rough"; the price is very high!!! For you, what is the correct price for these rare NOS items?
Thanks
Johnny

Check the markings on the wood box!

Default Mirrors

How about we all pool our money together and buy the whole box ? That way each of us would end up with at least a pair .

I bought two NOS ones here for $10 each earlier this year , but obviously the guy with the whole box full knows they are rare .

These CMP mirrors are basically copies of the pre war British Lucas mirrors often seen on MG sports cars etc.

The pic here is from a 1936 Morris Commercial CS8 parts list , incidently , the early Ferret scout car type mirrors of the 1950's are almost the same as WW2 CMP .

Default Mirror on Morris

The Mirror pictured here on the Morris is "DESMO " brand , made in the UK during WW2 . The Lucas type is identical to the CMP type .

Default Nice find !

What kind of dollars are we talking ? Tough mirror to find here in western Canada! I forgot to take the mirrors off of my 1956 MGA years ago when I was not infected with the CMP bug. Cheers Rob
