Default 2005

I think it was the last Corowa I went to

I passengered in this Dodge, on the way back down the freeway , it began wheezing and coughing and came to a halt. We thought it was a blown head gasket . It turned out to be a blocked muffler ! The baffle had dislodged itself and the engine was choking to death .

Ironically the year of the Carrier was my first ever Corowa.

I think it may have been the last time they gathered at the airfield.

Hope to tootle up with the Tilly some day, might be wise to avoid the Hume though

Chris,
The last time the airport was used during the Corowa Swim In was 2011. It would have been used in 2012 but in the preceding week it was waterlogged after heavy rains.
We are looking forward to next year's themes, Carriers and Internationals.

Regards
Richard

Tracks coming off seems to be fairly regular.

Would this have been the last time the swap was at Bangerang Park ?

Default wot and more

Jack's W0T reminds me of driving to Corowa in the WOT2D , in very hot weather , around 1982. The poor thing boiled , we stopped for a while . Downhill coming home, it sat on 50 MPH .
