I think your suspicions on the trailer are correct. It's a Ben Hur body alright but the tongue looks like a Canadian trailer and the axle is maybe a s**t spreader.

Hanno..
A 12 cab F15 A ..GM front axle but the fan belt to the water-pump says Ford to me..
Looks in pretty good shape ,but all those Canadian Prairie vehicles are in pretty good low rust shape..When I restored my '41 International KB2 is '85 I took the front bumper off with a 3/4"socket and 1/2" drive ratchet..No big pipe required..no heat..no "Instant mechanic"Loosen all..it was a thing of beauty to work on..and it was used in the last years of it's life to haul potatoes from the field to the bins..when I went to see it ,it was early spring..a bare spark in the old battery ..the old lad took a little gas and primed the carb..reached in behind the seat pulled out the crank..Put it in neutral turned on the key,,and got out..gave 'er a big twist and away it went..no knocking..some blue smoke but really quiet as it warmed up,...genny charging up the battery and all the magic..It was a Green Diamond engine
I Paid $2000.00 for that truck and put another $5000 in paint and upholstery, new rubber ,all original..I even got a window regulator,NOS right from the International dealer..I had the part number, the old parts man brought a dust old box to the counter and opened it up and there was a shiny new drivers window regulator..C/W crank..slides..the works..
Oh for the good old days.It was the last International Civilian Truck built in Hamilton Ontario in 1941..the line had already switched over to armour vehicles.. International Half tracks..

It's a cab 11 Ford. You can see the bolt holes in the hood and the square piece isn't bolted down tight. The square vents are Ford.

Default Could it be.....

HI Barry

Could the axle be from a jeep trailer...... rim/tire is too small for the arch of the fender....... rims looks like it has bolts to take it apart.... also is that a set of square fenders in the box.......

Interesting but not a $1000 worth.

Bob

Default Strange.....

Cab has rear driver side opening for the radio truck.... only one gas tank ....but seems to have a winch....long wheel base.....front nose has panels cut out ofr bracing as used in snow plows.....

Not a bad candidate for resto...... GS perhaps...... but 4K may scare a few.

Wonder what the inside has to offer.

Bob

That's not a winch, it's a spare front axle!
