David,
What's missing from this set? I live only about 5 miles from the seller and am interested in purchasing the set. His reserve is $300.

Regards,
Jim

Jim, it just needs the variometer mounting bracket, the aerial setup, and the mounting board and mounting carriers to put it in a vehicle. Dean (Ajax) on the forum had some of the carriers if he's got any left.
I've watched these sets sell on ebay for several hundred dollars but this one is listed under US field gear so it might go cheap. The 19 set I got was listed like that and I got it for $75 and nobody else bid on it.

Hey Jim,

That set in Arizona would be a great deal for you since you could probably arrange to pick it up. That alone would save you $100 in shipping costs and likely ensure it arrived in good condition. The main set also looks to have a complete watch pocket on the front. They are made from bakelite and often one or both parts are busted. I've seen replacement watch pockets for $75+ on their own so worth thinking about while setting a bid.

Good luck with it.
