Default Why is this man smiling?

While you were shivering in the frozen wastes of North America... we're basking in the lovely antipodean warmth... and the smile of course has to do with the fact I'm listening to the music of 600 horespower and about to commit aviation again in a beautifully restored 1945 Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation Wirraway.

Default Why is this boy smiling?

This is my 11 year old son Sam about to take his first flight in a De Havilland Chipmunk. Although nervous at first he loved the experience and can't wait to do it again.

Ahhhh . I take it ALL back, the nasties I said in my last post ... sorry sorry sorry keefy

Anyone who has such a strapping and handsome young son HAS to have the hand of God on himself ... and be holding the hand of Mother herself (yeah Belinda!)

I love the pic Keith ... your son looks great in a plane!A natural flyer?

Hi Yapster,
Sam is a natural flyer - he can't wait to do it again - no airsickness, so when the opportunity presents itself again he'll be in it for sure.
Thanks for the compliments - he takes his good looks from the maternal side which also means he'll probably be a lot taller than his old man

You sell yourself short, my friend (no pun intended)

Scarey when your kids get taller than you, are still adolescents/teens and believe today, what they won't tomorrow, about us old peoples smarts. they stand ABOVE you and look down on your stature beneath them, with their "all-knowing attitude" ... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... but do I already see that "I'm sunk...I'm stuck on planes" look in his wee eyes? (keep him away from this area! GRIN)

love K

I hope it never happens to you my friend, and if it does, I hope its short lived. Your son looks like a pretty happy camper and with you by his side I think he'll take to planes rather than "hangin out loose and about" Get him REALLY HOOKED NOW!
