I only have the 3 for my scopes, but I wanted to let you know that they are the same as used on the US M12A7 telescope series. The NSN is 1240-00-504-9940 and the part number is 5049940. Basically, a lot of the lower portion and some of the upper portion on the M12A7 scopes is the same as the C1...one big thing the C1 has is a lever to allow slipping the rotation of the head.

If you google those part numbers, you might find something. Things like that will show up on ebay from time to time, or be on the listings of some of the surplus outlets. I think a quick google showed Wayne machinery in Taiwan might have them but I am having trouble opening their PDFs right now. I have purchased items from them before, and while not cheap they were in my hands within about 4 days.

Default Rubber Eyepiece

Thanks Rob, shipping is $95 US for the $15 part. I will continue my search.

I do appreciate the heads up however.

Geof: Would you buy it if the price was $95 and the shipping was $15?

I knew this day was coming. The internet opened up our world where everything could be found. Then once we became used to that, nay dependent on it, they cranked up the shipping to exploit our dependency.

Ironically, when shipping become prohibitively expense the item 'stays on the shelf' as they say and we are right back to where we started.

Do what I do...buy four, shipping will likely be the same, and keep them all. Shipping works out to only $23 each that way.
Or do as some and sell some on ebay at $35 each and recoup a lot of your shipping.
