Default War Mamorials in small country towns

In recent days, my Wife and I have had opportunity to travel through a few rural towns and villages in Victoria that we wouldn't otherwise have seen. Where possible, I try to locate and photograph their memorials to local participants in past wars. In an attempt to share some of these wonderful monuments, and maybe motivate others to do likewise, I humbly present the following very individual memorials to the lost. Please add any of your own, and lets build a library of what can be seen, not only here in Australia, but anywhere in the world. As far as I'm concerned, all offerings are welcomed here.

Albury, Memorial Hill

This is where we will be for the Dawn Service tomorrow.
Not strictly a 'small' town, but worth showing!

Chiltern

Chiltern is my favourite thus far. For such a tiny place, they have created a very worthy memorial, and their gun is in as good condition as any I have seen.

More to follow in coming days, but I won't post ANZAC Day photos here.
Later in the week we will travel in the direction of Corowa, and more memorials will be shared at that time.

The Bofors looks interesting.

A post-war modified Bristol Bofors Gun.
Probably no survivors in the UK.

Grahamstown/ Shepardstown memorial after it was restored and placed in the grounds of Adelong RSL.
The memorial used to be in the school yard and was removed and buried when the school was sold.
Luckily when it was noticed missing the burial sight was found and it was restored.
