Default Wanted: bumper and pintle

Making a list of some items I am missing on my f15a cab 11.

Looking for: -a bumper and 'D' rings.
-complete hitch assembly. What bolts to the frame.

This is not the place to ask this, but. Are the bumpers and pintle hitch assembly the same for chevy and Ford? Would they interchange?

Phil, I believe that the front bumpers were different between Ford and GM, at least they are on 13 cab trucks. The rear pintle and spring ass`y should be the same.

Thanks Chris. It looks like it wouldn't be difficult to manufacture a bumper.

The bumper itself is probably the same but the push bar thing is different and so are the tow loops I think. On a Ford the vertical pieces are springs and on a Chev they're flat iron. I have a spare bumper off a Chev (just the channel iron piece)

I have a spare cab 13 Ford bumper out in the yard if worst comes to worst. They mounted a bit differently, but you could likely fill and redrill. I'm out in Shilo, so at least it's in the general neighbourhood.

David. This winter I'll try and get out west and see your stuff. Still thinking about the rear of the cab you have.

Rob. I'd like to come in to the museum someday. Sunday is supposed to be nice, is it open thru the winter? Could take a look at your bumper at the same time.

Closed on weekends throughout the winter. Best to come out for a museum tour when our club (prairie command) does it's tour. You'll get to see all the stuff stashed away in the barns and compunds.

I'll be out Sunday myself; theres a gun and militaria show in Wpg that day. Being an old retiree (45 yo, you can't work forever you know) I'm around most of the time, so if your in the area give a shout.
