Reference: Drawings for No1 Australian body

Hello there to all at MLU. Probably a question for the computer literate or administrators.

I have finished building the No1 Australian timber tray for my C15, a friend who is a professional draftsman is about to complete the drawings. There will be about thirty six pages in all. Jim (the draftsman) is happy for MLU to reproduce his drawings in the forum for the use of members.
My question is: are there protocols to acknowledge the author and how are the drawings published, Pdf etc.

Happy Xmas to you all, we expect high 30s temp as usual for Xmas so should be pleasant to work on the trucks.

Hello Robert,

Very nice of you to offer this sort of content for the benefit of the MLU membership.

It would be best if the draughtsman made pdf version of his drawings, and include a footnote containing his name, intended use and attributing yourself as well. An example could be “Construction drawings made by Jim [draughtsman], based on original No.1 Australian GS body owned by Robert Sexton. These drawings are intended for use by the members of Maple Leaf Up Forum. Copyright 2017 Jim [...] and Robert Sexton.” That may be a bit elaborate, but you get the point.

Then, email it to me and I will make it available here.

Hanno, thanks for your prompt reply. I will consult with the Jim (draughtsman) and if he approves of your suggested format of publishing then we will go with that.The drawings are extensive and detailed and he expects them to be finished in the New Year. The scales, perspective, footnotes etc are all part of the art of drafting which is way out of my league and I am not involved in that part.

Robert's note: the drawings are missing the tailgate as there was not anything left on my tray to take measurements from, it is hoped that I can track down one that Wayne Henderson knows of and take measurements and then Jim (draughtsman) will add this and make the drawings complete.

Who can help with measurements for the tailgate?
