Default CanadianMilitaryPattern.com back up

Well after two months I finally been able to restore my web page http://www.canadianmilitarypattern.com the new server allows more file space. I even added a video of my Pattern 12 first self powered movement in probably 40 years.

Hi Phil

Great video. Its really nice to see these old trucks moving again under their own steam. Hopefully this summer I will get to my CMP. You've given me some inspiration.

Default Mike how about a track vehicle trail ride

Glad you enjoyed the video, Mike you will have to bring your carrier up to the Weare Rally we have use of the roads and sand pits in a large flood control project so the armor can actually clear out their pipes and run under full power. The diagnostic testing of engines on a stand is so much easier than in the vehicle particularly things like CMPs or Carriers that it seems like the only way to go. I would have never have heard the number six rod bearing in the truck and it was so much easier to find and correct on the stand. My brother has a complete test stand for the flathead Ford V8s I'll have to get some video of one running on that.

Default Hey Phil

Great video, but what concerns me is what's going on in your neck o' the woods... we've seen some massive flooding in NH on TV in the last couple of days. Are you away from that?

Where we live is not having flooding problems we over look one of the flood control projects, but much of the State is having real problems. Much of the land around where our club has its summer rally is flood control land and many of the roads in an around the flood projects are under water.

Default Haven't found it all yet

Hi Peter-

Strange you should ask I was just going through files looking for things including the CMP Seminar 84 papers, found one letter so far from Peter Ford so far and a note from you back in 1984. Quess we've both been at this hobby for awhile.

The letter from Peter Ford is of general interest so I will e-mail you a copy and post a copy on my web site for everybody.
