Default G749 Air cleaner hose

Seeking NOS or suggested replacement hose for air cleaner to carb.

That hose is a holy grail. I would suggest researching similar hoses of silicone as used on some of the big diesels. In the meantime, do as everyone else has done for the past 45 years...duct tape.

Yes Rob, I saw this field fix already in place on her and added another break to it the other day when I pulled it off to check out the carb.
I’ll use my scrounging skills to find a modern replacement as it appears to be industrial type ducting

Hi guys,

It was suggested on steel soldiers that Spectre 8741 works. It is 3” black corrugated intake hose.
I don’t have one of these trucks so I can’t say how close to the original it is.
If you look at the early deuce forum there there is a parts interchange list.

That looks a like a 90° 3" silicone elbow ( http://www.siliconeintakes.com/holse...e-90-p-36.html) , a 3" piece of exhaust pipe for a coupler, and a length of 3" silicone hose might do the trick along with 4 hose clamps.
