Hello to all, I have just joined MLU and am looking forward to being able to take part in the discussions. I am one of the founding members of the Merredin Military Museum located in the heart of the wheat growing area of Western Australia.
Much of the equipment in the museum is privatley owned and on long term loan to the museum. Here is a list of some of the major items in the museum, LP2 Carrier, 2Pdr AT Carrier, Valentine Tank, Stuart Tank, Grant Tank, MK1 Ferret, 25 Pounder, 105 Pack Howitzer, 2 Pounder, Inter 6x6, Inter C1500, Monkey face Blitz, Australian Dingo Scout Car, AEC Command Car, Macchi Jet trainer and Staghound. Some are restored, some waiting and others under restoration.

I own the Carrier, restored it nearly 19 years ago and have done a lot of miles in it since then. Its starting to look a little sad and I hope to give it a good service later this year, we dont try to make our vehicles look like they have just come out of the factory, more that they are just back from a mission.

Will add photos as I get a chance

Cheers
