Default Sexton Deep Wading Gear

I am currently working on a scratchbuilt Sexton model in 1/35. It will have the Grizzly lower hull with the Sexton II upper. I have the CDP track in resin but it is pretty rough so I will be using the rubber chevron style I have seen in some pictures. I have also seen photos of the Sexton II with the deep wading gear fitted but only in trials. Was this gear used operationally? I think it would add a nice touch to the model.
I have the Wheels and Tracks article, George Bradford's FSM article as well as the MAFVA article on the Sexton. I also have downloaded the AFV Interiors info. on it as well. If any one has anything else they can add I would appreciate it. I have a few photos of the Sexton at the CWM and 1 or 2 of the one at Borden.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Sean

I also have a Resicast Ram in the works for those interested in modelling.
