Default M38A1 CDN3 water pump

Had a small mishap in the garage today, needless to say I’m out one water pump. I suspected it was getting ready to fail anyhow and questioned myself whether or not If go with it or replace it. Well now, no choice.
I have the three groove pulley.
Only need a pump.
Can anyone tell me whether OEM or aftermarket pumps will work, can I simply swap the pulley or is there a wide variation of shaft lengths and diameters?
Alternatively, anyone have a NOS Cdn3 pump?
Thanks Chris

To the best of my recollection the 3 pulley pump were the same pump as the earlier M38A1s, just the pulley was different. There was a modification on the early ones to put the bypass hose nipple onto them...can't remember if that was for the civilian pumps or the military.

I say they were the same because at one point the military bought a bunch of 2 pulley pumps and our BML machine shop in Winnipeg was tasked with making the 3 groove pulleys to replace the two groove.

I do have a NOS CDN2/CDN3 pump sitting on the shelf, but it isn't going anywhere.

Default Napa

Chris: l purchased one at Napa about 5 years ago, and swapped out the pulley. I recorded part Napa part number PH505 in my notes, but it looks like WPK43004 or WPN 58454 might be what you need.

Thanks Wayne and Rob, I’ll look into it.
Can’t believe I messed up my pump, a little too zealous with the press and then a drop onto the concrete floor causing need for a new unit.
