Default Carrier dash panel

Hi everyone.

I ahve been working on my dash panel lately and I have a few questions.

How or what does the mount for the ignition box look like. Is it just a simple "U" shaped piece of metal that mounts on the two screws and holds eveything in by tension. Or is there something else.

Can someone post a photo or two.

Also does anyone have a source for the adaptor rings that hold the speedometer, oil and temp gauges in place.

Anyhelp most appreciated.

Jordan

Jordan,

The switch is I assume, Canadian made? It is identical to the CAV switchboard, type 47A-29, used on British trucks and carriers from late 1930's.

Here is a scan from the Ford WOT6 and WOT8 manual, showing the switch in components.

Default switch

Richard I think this is an English switch. It has diferent knobs and a light and the Canadian switch has one more "position to it
