Default new toy in the shed

Hi Fellas I thought I would share a few pics in the hope of learning a little more aboiut my most recent arrival. I understand it to be a mk2* from July 44, it apears quite straight, sprockets appear to my untrained eye to be quite good, and the tracks are quite taught. The down side is the cut to the front armour and the total disassembly of the engine and transmission, quite odd I thought because it appears to have very little wear. Most noticable absenses, (though I'm sure there are many!) are the oil filter houseing and mounting bracket and the distributor, any leads here would obviously be appreciated. Any way all comments are welcome, any one shouting you fool will need to line up with the wife!

It riginates from the Toronto area if its familiar to any one on the list?

here goes

regards

nick

Hi Nick,

Great project! Will it be ready for next year's Tanks in Town? Pity we did not run into each other at Mons this year.

Default tanks in town

Hi hanno
great idea, we really enjoyed our visit to Mons and will definately go again, wehter or not I can screw this carrier back to gether in time is another question entirely! As mush was we enjoyed the event it definately looked to be better still as a participant than as a spectator, although I did get to sit in the bar and watch everything pass by!!

I had hoped to see carrier therein Mons but did't come across any

kind regards

nick
