Default Saladin Re-visited

Hi all

Some sort of technical glitch appears to have relegated the previous thread to the ether. Blame it on the CIA. Anyway here are the pics again for your enjoyment. This vehicle has just been bought by one of our members of the National Military Vehicle Museum. And next week I'll be getting my truck licence and then guess what?

Bob

Middle right green thing looks like a Plessey junction box for C42 radio...Yes/No?

Years ago, I built three of these models made by Tamiya. The model has been discontinued, and oh, how I mightily lust to find such a kit at militaria shows, etc. I always thought they were such a neat looking, but functional piece of kit.

Default Mustang & Plessey

Hi Tony

The Mustang has gone, replaced by a Jeep Cherokee and a Mini Moke.

Hi Jon

I'll check. Is it a model of a Saladin or a junction box you want.

Bob

Default Saladin and Plessey thingie

Bob: looks like Rob has what I'm after, and on this side of the pond. Thanks for replying.

Rob: Friend for life if we should do a deal with the Saladin kit.. What about the RS C42 set parts availability that I e-mailed you some time ago. Still interested?
