Default Me 21 years ago

Just found this video a friend made back in 1989 in my F60L.

I've put it on YouTube. You should get a laugh here - 1. I have hair and 2. it is not grey!

Well, you certainly look like you belong behind the wheel of a Blitz. Throwing it around left and right, and having good fun.
Was that on full rego back then? And no seatbelt as well?
A good looking truck.

And death to....what was that...a leyland?

I note that SEG when driving a Blitz hasn't changed a bit.
Another video worth watching taken just a bit earlier.

Default Decrepitude

Yes, time is a harsh thing, and not only on the vehicles as you can see...

By the way, do you have something of yourself from 1989 you'd care to share with the membership?

This is me back in 1984:

No smooth driving like Keefy - I did not have have a driver's licence yet so I was only doing "vroom, vroom" behind the wheel of a Chevrolet.

Default Now this looks like an interesting challenge

Hi Keith

How about posting the video so we can get the full effect, or did I miss the link?

Also this is and interesting challenge to see how many videos our little band of brothers can turn up. Of course the older the better.

I know I have a 1986 video, have to check if I've got any thing earlier think I do but it is probably on Betamacs.

Cheers Phil

Default Older

Thanks for the encouragement, Clive.

At least I can report since then:

I have doubled the number of offspring to 4;

I may have sold that F60L but now have more than four times the number of CMPs than back then.
