Default C15 4 x 2 drop arm

Hello

Would anyone have a drop arm (steering box to wheels) for the above vehicle?

I have a non-internet friend who is in need of one and is stuck.

Location of part does not matter.

Regards
Doug

Hi Doug
Have you tried Ross Prince in Queensland. Think his phone number is 07 41244075
Rich.

Yep, see you at Corowa, shame it is not on now, more water in the Murray than I have seen in 10 years.

Richard

The way it is looking, it could be another wet Corowa like 2009.

2011 theme could be "The year of the wet Pommie ignition" or "Lucas and water don't mix".

;-)

Regards
Doug

Default steering arm

Hi Doug
I should have one, but there are several arms between the steering box and the front wheels so as Lyn has said a picture would be great.
Regards
Jim S.

Hopefully pics are attached to this post.

I tried to upload the pics in 900 x 600 format, but MLU seems to be croping them right down. I can send by email if needed.

Ball size = 1"
Plug size = 1"
Overall length = 18 1/2"
Distance between ball centres when installed 16 1/4"

Tape measure in pic is distorted, but I put the tab on the lowest part of the
outer face.

Regards
Doug

Forgot to say that drop arm pictured is pretty well flogged out. Doesn't really show in pics but has a split going from side opening at one end radially around body and heavy wear within openings and inner window.

Regards
Doug

This is called a "Drag link". The drop arm has the spline inside, that goes directly onto the steering box, with the ball on the other end which goes into one end of your "drag link.
