Default This might not have got world wide coverage

but it is now. YASS WON THE FOOTY GRANDFINAL, for the first time in 47 years in this competition (Rugby League that is, the best game in the world). Yass played against a team that has dominated the competition for at least 30 or 40 years and beat them by 44 to 18, we call that out here a fair flogging, you should of heard the crowd, most of Yass were there to witness this and the noise was unbelievable it's a wonder Keefy couldn't hear it in Melbourne. I was in town a while ago ( approx 18 hours after the game)and would have to say most of the players and some supporters were still at the pub celebrating in great Aussie style. They will hopefully stop soon as next Saturday they have their formal dinner and handing out of prizes and then another celebration for the end of a great season.

Congratulations Max! I too am a lover of the greatest game on Earth (it's tied with hockey). I played Prop until the age of 35 when a broken leg during a practice (we always played the game full out!) made me realize I needed to hang up my cleats until I could play in the Over-40 league. Now at the age of 52 I'm considering re-entering the fray as the game of Rugby is alive and well here in North Texas. I'll hoist a yard of Shiner Bock to salute your team's win!

CHIMO!

Post Footy Finals

First of all, let me dispute the 'greatest game' tag...
But seriously, congratulations to the team. I know they have had a couple of tragedies within the ranks over the last couple of years, and the win must be a great way to remember the boys that have been lost.
Cheers,
Howard.
BTW, Ganmain looks good to take out their 3rd consecutive grand final, I'll keep you posted...
