Default Need your Help: Tire ID

Now I need specialist's help. Can anybody identify the tire on the pic (sorry, no better resolution available).

It is assumed that it was mounted on a CMP Ford F8 in May 1942. Is this possible?

Yes it is possible. I had some 1940 dated tires on some wheels that I had. A friend has a military trailer on his farm still in use with I think 1952 tires on it. I am sure that my C-15 had the original tires on the front until I replaced them last fall. The rubber had deteriorated badly and I couldn't read the date, but they were "Dominion Royal" tires.

It looks like it's a 13" tire which is the size the F8s used.
