Default Search for Canadian soldier Ernie Davidson (RCCS)

Hello, does anyone have information about "Ernie Davidson", a Canadian soldier who contributed in the liberation of the city of Groningen (the Netherlands) in april 1945? He stayed at the house of my grandparents in Groningen for some time. All I have is a photograph of mister Davidson, wich is attached to this message.

All I know is that:
- his name is written as "Ernie" Davidson;
- he served in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (2nd Canadian Infantry Division);
- he took part in the liberation of the north of the Netherlands, including the city of Groningen in april 1945;
- he stayed at the house of my grandparents Dedde & Geeske Wijma.

Does anyone know mister Davidson or his family, or can anyone help me to find him? You can post a reply or email me at: gdnevels@zonnet.nl

Greetings from Holland,

Godfrey Nevels
