I would just like to say that it was a pleasure last Friday night to meet Darcy Pennock from Alberta when we crossed paths in Ottawa. We sat and talked and ate, very generous of him to graciously stump up for a healthy supper after a day on the road for me and talk military vehicles and hear how the Alberta scene is full of great people and an abundance of projects ripe for restoration.

He shared pictures of his Ferret and Iltis and Bedford and various Jeeps.

I was looking decidedly disheveled so I refrained from any selfie shots of the two of us.

Darcy went on to make a visit to a local collection the next day that I have ties to but I will let him post to that.

Nice to meet you Darcy and the wheels are turning.
