Default Ford

Ford ute with wireless. Looks like a garden chair, a typical ad hoc installation !

The antenna base I have one !

A Plymouth maybe Mike, but not a 1941 Ford.

Hi John

Believe me, I know my WW2 military utes. That's a 1941/42 Ford 12cwt ute .

I owned two of the 1941 Plymouth based military utes in the early 1980's. The Ford has a distinct cab, the cab rear is a patchwork affair and it has angled panels with a flat rear panel for the window . The Plymouth has a more rounded cab rear , curved . A VMVC member has been doing a ongoing restoration of a 41 army Ford ute for 20 years !!!

Will find some pics Mike

Here we are: a MLU thread http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...=1941+ford+ute

Yes I am corrected Mike. I was comparing it to my one ton utes.
