Default Lift the Dot fasteners

HI everyone.

Im getting ready to get the seat covers made for my UC in a few weeks. Im looking for the Lift the Dot fasteners. I know CDN tire and HomeDepot had them but they no longer carry them. Does anyone know where I may be able to get them.

I found the following info off of the Spaenaur website. Page M42. It seems though that they come in a qty of 100. I need about half that many.

Try Bouclair or other sewing goods store. You may have better luck in the US as these were always more of an American thing.

Jordan, you can purchase quantities of less than 100 from Spaenaur. 100 is a standard package, they may charge a premium for less than standard.

Thanks for the tips

Ive since found the Lift the Dot company website. They list all the different kinds they make.

However all the studs that seem to be available now are ones that have a threaded rod below them. I could pass it through the wood seat back and then just use a nut. However the originals are like the one in my picture. I can't find any reference to these.

Both stud and screw are 1/2 inch long

Hi Jordan..
If the female part is threaded on the ones that you can find it is just a matter of some countersunk screws of the same thread to complete your two piece snap..
Could be 1/4" or 3/16ths National Course(NC) ...
Can the threaded rod unscrew from the ones you can find../?
And you should be able to find the originals at an automotive upholstry shop..

If you can't find the internally threaded style, then just use upholstery nuts behind the wood, and thread in the stud type fastener. The upholstery nuts are like a threaded washer with three clinch fingers on the outsides.

Don't be afraid to buy the fasteners in the 100 packs...you'll need them when you start restoring CMP trucks as well.

Question lift the dot

Jack, it's a wholesaler, so all small items like that are per 100
