Default What is this part??

I have an odd looking item I found in with some 19 set parts.
It is a light ga. steel angle with a copper bracket on the back.
Exactly 5 1/4" long. Number on it is ZA-CAN-5865.

Any ideas???

Thanks

Photo might help, it doesn't ring any bells at the moment.

Chris.

Nothing I recognise from the 19 set, possibly late WW2 or postwar, and it looks like some sort of internal RF shield.

Might be off the Canadian high power amplifier, or the WS52.

Chris.

Looks like it is from the Supply Unit Rectifier #1. It mounts on the back of the transformer and holds the 4 rectifier valves in place. The copper strip helps dissipate the heat.
