Default Mk.1 Carrier Jack Block

Does anyone know if the wooden jack block that sits in the rear deck of a Mk.1 Canadian carrier was painted the vehicle colour or left natural wood?

Default Bruce

I pulled about six of these out of Levy's. They were always natural wood.

Default 2 cents....

I have an NOS Block for my HUP. Chances are, it was not the same as a Carrier, but I can send you a photo and dimensions, if need be.....Robert
