I think he means this: Be clear, set a price.

Otherwise, we are playing a game, guessing how much you want to sell for.

Hi Robin, I'm not the buyer, nor a mind reader. I offended someone else on the forum a while back, because we were asked to make an offer. I looked at ebay prices and made a judgement and an offer. The guy was insulted.
In that case I did want the items, In this I thought you would see the humour in it.

Lynn, I did see the humour even if I did not show it, I'm good mate.

It was stupid of me to price it that way, I am ok.

And it looks like someone wants its it and it may be marked sold soon.

By the way, this tin has sat on a shelf at Smiths Army Surplus in downtown Kingston behind the cash desk for quite a while, I finally plucked up the courage to ask to see it and upon seeing the markings I thought it should be saved and passed on to someone who can use it. I didn't pay much so I am nt asking much.

Cheers Robin.
Your price would be hard to say no to. Very generous on your part.

Lynn,

I am assuming that Karma comes around and goes around. Recently I have been fortunate in a number of ways in relation to our hobby that has highlighted the need to be a decent human being and be mindful of what niceties have been visited upon me.

I just thought someone here would make much better use of it. Now if it turns out to be worth a million dollars and someone flips it it would be good to think that they might contribute to MLU and I drink Guinness.

Hello Perry and Robin
Perry I have a very similar box, 50's shiny green, this one is special; as it is lockable. Lid reads:

CIA B 39761
230
W /l\ D

L 8cm x W 5cm x H 4.9cm

Make a donation to MLU for 508.11 rupees and it is yours!
Can post it, could bring it to Windsor, or and yes; we do deliver to London?

Geoff
