Default SMG Bracket

SOLD SOLD I believe this to be a SMG (Sterling/C1) SMG. bracket.
Nato stock number as per pic.
Unknown for what vehicle/application
NOS and extra to me.

$30.00 plus shipping.

Default sterling smg holder

yes I will have it thanks..need one for my current restoration..I only have the SLR brackets and as its an 11a FFR driver/op would have had a sterling...got the sterling just need the correct bracket..I can paypal you for item and postage cheers malcolm

For posterity, I will mention that the bracket is a Canadian Bracket and was installed on just about every Canadian SMP vehicle, both A and B type, from the late 50s until the late 80s. They came standard on the 5/4 tons and the MLVWs. They were available singly or as part of a retro fit kit for the jeeps, in which case they came with the FN brackets as well.

Even after the SMG left, we used to keep the brackets around as they made a good flashlight holder. I little long for the standard green right angle flashlight, but perfect for the old 3 and 4 cell maglite (aka: club).

very true Rob I keep an old Maglite on the bedroom cabinet..as you say very handy for thumping...cheers malcolm
