Default C8A Brake Shoe Spring

Gentlemen....looking for a Brake Shoe Retaining Spring for the rear brake shoes of a C8A. If anyone has one, can direct me to where to find one, or a copy of one....it would be greatly appreciated. It's about 6 1/2 inches long."For the sake of a spring...a battle was lost". Brian Asbury come in please...Brian Asbury over and out.

Default Well not quite.......

Sorry Hanno, not a peep from MLU. This came through a dozen or so phone calls, a number of car trips and talking to a lot of the "duh" generation who don't know the word service! Finally went to :CHEVS OF THE 40's" down in Vancouver Washington, who were out of stock.....but managed to get the young fellow to tell me of "JC AUTO PARTS" in Missouri USA. The girl at the counter (Patricia) was more than helpful and got me all sorted out.

PS: There was someone on this forum who sent his daughter down to find some auto parts. His advice to his daughter....."Go to the older gentlemen at the counter"! No better advice was ever given! R.
