Default Celles Belgium, "Geronimo's camp" may 2016

We found out about this event by accident some years ago, when we were on our way to visit the Pather tank in the centre of the Belgian town of Celles....and we nearly rear ended a Sherman M4A1 which was running on public roads without any sort of guidance. After arriving in the town there were WW2 vehicles everywhere and we realised we accidentally "found" a big MV event.
Over the past few years we have visited this event a couple of times and attached you will find some pictures of last weekend.

The event "Celles" officially centres around the 101 AB, 326 Engineers, but basically any WW2 vehicle is allowed to participate. This years theme was Tanks, with a M5A1, M24 Chaffee and M4A2 Sherman among the vehicles.....The latter was now dressed up as a US vehicle for the movie "Fury", but has previously also sported British markings for the XXX Corps event in 2014.
Apart from the tanks, there were some very nice displays with some US heavy vehicles (Diamond, White, Brockway, IHC, Ward etc.) and even a few Commonwealth vehicles (T16, F60L, FGT, Bedford QL).

Most of this stuff (certainly all the Armour from the UK) has moved onto an event called Patton Drivers at Ulbeek and will be there until the end of the week.
