Default Rear FGT cab 13 hooks

Hello again
those hooks are on my cab 13 FGT
Phil - there are the original late version cable guides - really ugly ones, even for a commonwealth vehicle
Regards,
Frankie

Default Hook replicas

My blacksmith just finished the frontal scotch-rope hooks for winch equipped cab 13 Fords, so if anyone was interested, let me know!
I dismounted the rear one from my FGT so he will make them too, if anyone needed a pair.

Default Scotch hooks/cable guides

If anyone is stuck for getting these made (US/Can), I can forge these - either type, but I would need dims though!

Could trade maybe..

Ah memories...My 1944 C60 had the hooks for the scotches on the frame.. In my search for parts decades ago I came across a guy who had a couple dozen of them in a garage still in their original (badly falling apart) wooden crates. The scotches were heavy! I got a couple for my truck.
Now the bad part...I have no idea anymore where this fellow was. or even how i traced them down...bummer and a lesson to all in that we should carefully note who has what and where even if it's stuff we don't actually need.
My saving grace may be that I'm pretty sure I told other collectors at the time about them..

I also came across a fellow who had lots of original 16 in wheels and tires but was in the house moving business and would not part with them at all. Said there was no modern equivalent for small size and yet strength... again, I failed to note who he was where etc.

Yes you may rightly swear at me...but take the lesson, as I now have and will not repeat such a terrible mistake
