Default Huntsville Legion Carrier Identification

Guys,

Our team member Matt is chasing down the proper decals for our MkII Huntsville Legion Carrier Project. I'm working on the vehicle identification decal and I need some help please.
On this carrier, the symbols on the top edge of the front upper hull plate (driver side) have been damaged. Using a brass buffing wheel, I have been able to extract the following numbers:
CT 266389 2 7 194_ Ford 34232 - which is the vehicle serial number?
Now, on the angle iron reinforcement, (commander's seat) I have:
CB 23253 - which I am assuming is our hull #?
On the rear upper hull plate angle iron, commander's side, is stamped 23226. Is this just a part #?
I would appreciate everyone's input as well as an educated guess as to the year of manufacture.
Thanks very much!

e-mail sent. Good job Rich. Now you can paint on the correct CT registration number. However, you need to clarify the serial number, which I wager does not start with the numeral '3', but instead see if it is a "2".

Year of manufacture? I believe Monday, February 7th, 1944 is close enough.

Bingo Michael R! I walked back out to the carrier and looked more closely. It is a 2 with the lower part of the 2 chipped away. Thanks very much for helping us complete the identification of our Legion carrier.
Cheers!
