Default Merry Christmas to all

Merry Christmas everyone. Photo is of my carrier taken during its appearance at the 1999 Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The band is the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders who were celebrating their 600th Anniversary that year. As the band marched forward I had to take off and go back behind them without stalling, spinning or stopping. Timing is paramount at this event as I'm sure you know!! We made it. At one of the performances a camera was fitted on the engine deck and the whole episode was filmed for TV. Great scary experience!!

Default Thankyou

Nigel,

Thankyou for your well wishes. People forget that Christmas is time to pause, reflect, forget, and give.

It was great to see your carrier in 'action' on the TV (Yes. I did see it on the tattoo!)

I watch the tattoo EVERY year... Since I was a wee laddie. It screens here on New Years Eve...

It is a 'must see' for an old salt like myself.

Seamhas! (Good luck & fortune)

Ian.
