M135 hood
Hello Gentlement. I am looking for a Hood for a M135. Also looking for inner windshield frames and perhaps top bow and tarp for troop seating canopy. London area.
Thanks Dan |

Modern windshield frames from the MLVW,s will work with some work along with the top bows...Been there not so long ago.

M135 front windshield frames
I was under the impression that M135/M211 front inner windshield frames were significantly wider than MLVW front inner windshield frames.

Yes they are. Since it is the bottom of the frame which usually rots out first, the shorter MLVW M-35 frame would not be of much use, unless one was able to spice two of them together. Regarding the bows, they will do although they are a bit different dimensionally. There are also other subtle differences like the high/lo on the staves of a duece, or the locking bars on the corner pieces of the M35. |

What does someone recomend then for restoring those windshields. I'm sure many MV collectors have tried different methods.
