Default WTB speedometer for my Chevy G7107

Hello All,

I recently bought a Chevy G7107 and the restoration of the dash board is almost completed. However the speedometer doesn't works and it is irrecuperable. Does someone has a good one for sale? Also, the temperature gauge is not an original and I'm also looking to find a good one.

Best regards

Guy

Bill,

If your gauges are early civilian style Bob Mosely in Adelaide, Australia does the most wonderful restorations of complete Chevrolet dash panels at a very good price.

If they are the standard military round instruments there are dozens of jeep and Dodge supply places that can provide reproductions, new old stock, second-hand or rebuilt. The jeep/Dodge speedo is the same ratio so should work just fine in your truck.

For real purists if you are going concourse they seek out individual manufacturer's instruments which have almost indiscernable differences to outside ring and markings. I believe every different instrument manufacturer had a go at supplying every vehicle maker at some stage so it would go to the supreme court before a judgement was made on whether a particular one was "correct".
