Default General Motors Interchangable Parts Lists

I ran across an eBay ad yesterday for a 1952 GM Illustrated Parts List covering all interchangable parts between, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick and Oldsmobile from 1937 to 1952, Never knew such a manual existed, but now I am wondering if such manuals would have any relevance for MV restorations?

Default MV Civi cross-over

More information is always better, thank you. I think this one is mostly civilian already but a guy never knows what Cold War era project might come up next.
