Breech block ID
Any ideas what this breech block is? About 6.5"x12.5"x5.5". About 4-7/8" circle diameter at end. Only part numbers are D8367-6 and E30408-A42 which I cannot identify. Has American bomb ordnance stamps. Brian

It is roughly the size and the shape of the 105 howitzer. I can't confirm those numbers though. I could certainly use it for my C1....PM and email sent.
Rob Edited to add: I have confirmed the number through my copy of TM9-3007 105mm howitzer Last edited by rob love; 10-11-17 at 04:28. Reason: link corrected |

And here it is a couple weeks later after a few hours of rust removal. I still have to run it with some rouge and the buffing wheel.
