Can you please put this in to context?

IE Tim is closing is doing a tidy up or closing the business?

Some of us don't understand what is going on to cause this sale.

Thanks in adavance

Hi Robin,

I gather it is stock reduction, but I haven't asked Tim why he's undertaking an auction at this time.

All I know is I'm not going to be able to be there!

Mike

Mike,

Thank you for your response, as usual, sadly, if I had read the pdf I would have found an explanation like you did!

Shame there aren't pictures for each lot with numbers, or perhaps I have missed them somewhere.

Some interesting items that i am sure he wants to unload and move along.

As a local to Tim (a lazy 100k's away from me) he is NOT closing down just thinning out his stock and cleaning up the area. I like other MLU Aussies particularly we Victorians have had the pleasure to climb through his sheds, shipping containers and hidey holes to full fill our restoration dreams and see first hand the well catalogued and extensive collection.

Their is a hell of a lot more stock and I will confirm that Tim is not closing down at least that is what he told me.

Cheers,

Dave.

Well spotted David!

Hanno,

Can you link the threads, please? They are about the same auction and the item listing is now available to download.

Thanks Hanno,

The ARV is very complete, a good runner, and has an interesting service history. I had the chance to look over it in some detail in company with Tim last time I was in Aust.

Default Your purchaces John.

Hello John, Here are the items purchased for you today I was bidder 350. Tim is aware of them and I have stored the barrel nets in his back shed; just make contact with Tim about transport.

It was great to help you out and return the favour for hosting Kathy and I in Canada last year.

By the way the Cent ARV sold for $102,000 + 10% GST. Tim started it and it roared to life on the 1st piston up a fantastic piece of Armoured history.

So much to look at and apart from a couple of items the rest was well priced; to much to get a good handle on and it was only a small part of Tim's stock.

Richard Couttes-smith and I managed to pick up a couple of very hard to get Humber parts in amongst the mountains of crates and stock.

Cheers,

Dave.

Thanks Again Dave

without your help that auction would have been completely out of reach, once again good friends and MLU has shrunk the world to a friendly size! Many, many thanks to you and Kathy!

Best Regards
John

I understand that the ARV has gone to a good home and will be joining other Centurion 'stablemates'.

Sounds like the auction went well - anyone else on MLU participate and care to share what 'goodies' you were able to buy?

Mike
