Default Weekend fun.

So I went out over the weekend and did some driving (and braking) on my tank. Here are some pics to show you all what I have built. I think the barrel looks really good. Could almost pass as a 2 pounder AT gun barrel.

Jonathon,

Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh this summer. Good luck working out the kinks.

Default Final post of the completed tank.

So it has been a long 5 years of working on this project. Now that it is done it is a bit sad but on to the next project this fall. Here are some last pics of it from the show I debuted it at. I stuck some magnets on it to dress it up. the markings will be something I need to think about down the road. I may introduce it to re-enacting as a German captured veh, so don't want markings until I see how that goes.
Thanks for all the support and opinions over the years.

Heh, I just came across that video and thought, “That looks like that replica I was reading about on MLU this morning, I wonder if that video is linked there yet …” Turns out I should have clicked the link Hanno posted Cool to see it running, though.

Thanks Hanno.
Posting this video here completes the story.
Glad to have been able to share the progress and now it has been seen by the world.
Best I or any of us can hope for.
Also thanks to Chieftain for a good interview.
