Default Water Truck Canvas

Looking for some good pictures of a C15A watertruck which shows the canvas over the water tank on the rear of the truck. We need to repro one for our truck, we know the size etc.. but require some close up pictures which would show us how the canvas was attached to the tank/ bows.

Thanks
Jeff

Default 1940 C15 Water tanker

This is an early, 1940 I think Canadian C15 tanker with Thompson Bros (Bilston) Ltd tank body on English-assembled chassis. I will look out in my official photos for the C15A Canadian-bodied version.

In the meantime here's a thread with more tankers!

Is that a front bumper bar channel mounted on the rear? I think I can see the jewel reflectors mounted in the holes on the outside edges.

This one I found last night was from the book Canada Fighting vehicles, put out by the Ontario Historic Guys about 20years ago, they also put out Blueprint to Victory, both out of print and definately form part of the CMPers Bible

And this one from, I think the same group, can't remember the name of the publication, its at home, but it was a limited run and details many of the Canadian war products.
The line is a crease as the photo covers two pages

This pic has been reversed. The diff is offset to the right hand side and looking at the other pics, the handle on the rear doors should be on the right hand door . Nice pics, just the same!
