whilst having a bob up and down in the older threads i cme across this AEC Matador item by David. As apart owner of one i would like to revive this as a general Matador thread rather than start another, OK with you fellas

Thought i would add a bit more to this one as i untill recently was part owner of one of the beast,s. Sadly due to the accident last year i have come to the decision that it would be unsafe to drive it now and it has been sold on, we now own a Austin K2 much easier to operate.
Some more Matador photos the first two in the desert no 1 is interesting as the cab top has been removed, obviously some Welsh connections here |

I can help you mr ramtank2.
It had a 6 cyl diesel of 95 hp. 10tons approx. Experimental for towing 6 or 17pdr, stores, ammo and crew of nine. |

I just found what to me, is a new series of YouTube clips that feature the restoration of AEC Matadors.
