Thought i would add a bit more to this one as i untill recently was part owner of one of the beast,s. Sadly due to the accident last year i have come to the decision that it would be unsafe to drive it now and it has been sold on, we now own a Austin K2 much easier to operate.
Some more Matador photos the first two in the desert no 1 is interesting as the cab top has been removed, obviously some Welsh connections here

Default AEC Matador

Hello All,

I just found what to me, is a new series of YouTube clips that feature the restoration of AEC Matadors. Here is a clip which shows and engine rebuild plus a restored Matador acting as a parts pick-up vehicle; accessed 2nd August 2021 from, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwPx...XQ17jp&index=3 footage of the drive starts at 7:57 minute mark - enjoy!

Kind regards
Lionel
