BC bugs
you don't have to go down under to see a venomous vamp. Parts of British Columbia are home to the Black Widow spider. And she doesn't use a frying pan.

And while you're out looking at that old cmp hulk in the bush keep an eye out for the brown recluse and the hobo spider. Although not fatal their bites produce large areas of necrotic tissue. They both inhabit southern BC.
Oh, carry a big stick to move the rattlesnake off the vehicle. They like to sun themselves. |

Scary
I knew Canada was a scary place! Not only do you have killer spiders related to our dear redback but the cold will get you too if you're not careful! Of course we don't have rattlesnakes, thank goodness... some of ours are far more venomous.
