You are hereby cordially invited to dine, gratis, at MA YAPPY KARTMANN'S DINER whenever transportation can be arranged :dh: I shall plan the menu as I go ... pot-luck may be in order ... perhaps our EMMA would enjoy helping with the cooking? Maybe MAX can send that he surely looked like he ran down in YOTC? Lambchops smothered in Vegemite and Tim Tams on Anzac Bikkies for desert? Hmmm ... |

Re: Correct Language Use

OK, Salesman Bob...you got me good (Jon is a teen age affectation of the spelling of my proper Christian name). And to the others... Clive: I think I'll run along and run on a sentence or two... Cliff: Fair dinkum, mate... Glowworm: Sisyphean task indeed... Chris: You can piss off too, (We're still friends, though, right?) See you in Acton next month. Mark: I say old boy, I had a similar problem with a recent transmission from Sunray. Totally garbled. Did you say something about putting the blocks to someone? Great fun, this. Don't you all agree?

Re: Correction Jon
Quote:
"For 'tis the sport to have the enginer / Hoist with his owne petar" -- Shakespeare, Hamlet III iv. "Hoist" was in Shakespeare's time the past participles of a verb "to hoise", which meant what "to hoist" does now: to lift. Hamlet: There's letters seal'd; and my two schoolfellows, Whom I will trust as I will adders fang'd, They bear the mandate; they must sweep my way And marshal me to knavery. Let it work; For 'tis the sport to have the enginer Hoist with his own petar; and 't shall go hard But I will delve one yard below their mines And blow them at the moon. O, 'tis most sweet When in one line two crafts directly meet. This man shall set me packing. I'll lug the guts into the neighbour room.- Mother, good night.- Indeed, this counsellor Is now most still, most secret, and most grave, Who was in life a foolish peating knave. Come, sir, to draw toward an end with you. Good night, mother. Exit the Queen. Exit Hamlet tugging out Polonius. R. |

the dunny
Keith,I reckon Jiff and Jon should be on dunny duties as soon they arrive their first job would be to build an outback dunny to the guide lines set out by the beyond the black stump school of dunny building which is located 20 miles west of the tin shed you know where don't ya. What should the seating capacity of these dunnies be Keefy? a one, two or eight.
Karmen frying pans will be confiscated at the airport as only camp ovens are used here. Should this possibly be a new thread Keith on this subject? As it is an important one. Max |
