Default FAT 4 "caution" notice

Hi
I am a modeller and intend to make a model of a Ford FAT 4 in Canadian service in Italy, Holland or Germany. The few pics that I have of the rear of those vehicles reveal that a three line cautionary notice appears to have often been painted on the centre of the rear panel. One caption remarks that this had to do with reeling out the winch cable. Does anyone know the exact wording of this notice? I can only read the top line which is CAUTION underlined.
Chris

Not sure if this is 100% correct, or someone's 'best guess'?

Owen.

Wind, If you wind a slack cable it won't fill the drum evenly and can run off the side causing all sorts of problems.

Default FAT 4 caution notice

Many thanks to you all! The versions I have seen have the message on two lines underneath the CAUTION line, but I am pretty sure that the wording you have given (Wind, not Mind) is correct. It matches what I can see in blurred form on my pics. Now to find letters small enough for 1/76!

Default Of course!

I was reading it in a polite, British way ...

Chris,

If all else fails you in the decal/waterslide transfer department contact Bill Brillinger https://www.pdc.ca/rr/custom_decals/ He's a railway model supplier in Canada with a laser cutter, an ALPS printer and a love for doing custom work.

I agree 100% with the lettering in Owen's photo being:

"- caution -
wind
winch cable
under load"

But I read his question as being whether those restoring the photo FAT have correctly painted the sign based on period photos/documents. I have no useful input on that.
